Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is Relief Tablet safe to use?
Relief Tablet is safe for most patients. However, in some patients it can cause unwanted side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn and diarrhea. Tell your doctor if you experience persistent problems with this medicine.
Q. Can I stop taking Relief Tablet once the pain is gone?
Relief Tablet should be continued as directed by your doctor if you are taking the medication for a condition associated with long-lasting pain. It can be discontinued if you use it for short term pain relief.
Q. Can taking Relief Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, taking Relief Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid eating fatty or fried foods together with this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids and take small sips regularly. Call your doctor if vomiting continues and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored, strong-smelling urine or irregular urination. Do not take any other medications without consulting your doctor.
Q. Can taking Relief Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, taking Relief Tablet may cause dizziness (feeling weak, faint, unsteady or light-headed) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or light-headed, do not drive or operate machinery. It is better to rest for a while and resume as soon as you feel better.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Relief Tablet?
The use of Relief Tablet is considered harmful for patients with a known allergy to any of the components of this drug. Avoid in patients with known allergy to other analgesics (NSAIDs). The use of this medicinal product should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease or in patients with active or recurrent peptic ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Q. Is Relief Tablet useful for relieving stomach pain?
No, Relief Tablet should not be taken for stomach pain without consulting a doctor. This drug may increase stomach acid secretion, which may worsen an unknown underlying condition.
Q. Can taking Relief Tablet cause kidney damage?
Yes, prolonged use of Relief Tablet can cause kidney damage. Normal kidneys make a chemical called prostaglandins that protect the kidneys from damage. The use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body, which leads to kidney damage when taken for a long time. Therefore, the use of analgesics in patients with underlying renal disease is not recommended.
Q. Is it safe to take more than the recommended dose of Relief Tablet?
No, taking more than the recommended dose of Relief Tablet may increase your risk of side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion and diarrhea. Prolonged use of this medicine can even damage the kidneys. If you experience increased pain intensity or if the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses of this medicine, consult your doctor for further investigation.
